Travel by Alaska Marine Highway

Many coastal towns that are inacessible by road can be reached by the Alaska Marine Highway which is a fleet of ocean going ferries that traverse the Inside Passage from Bellingham, Washington all the way to Whittier in Southcentral Alaska as well as Kodiak and serveral stops out the Aleutian chain.
