Alaska Marine Highway

Alaska Marine Highway System
~ Travel,Tours and Vacations by Ferry Boat~

Alaska is renown for it's wildlife viewing and there is no better way to view it while traveling than on one of the ocean going ferry boats operated by the state of Alaska. This transportation system, which is called the Alaska Marine Highway System, runs along the roadless coastline from Bellingham, Washington, up the Inside Passage along the shores of British Columbia to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Whittier and many other coastal cities of Alaska. So, bring your camera and your sence of adventure to explore the Last Frontier by water up the Inside Passage, out along the Aleution Islands, or even just a short ferry ride from Homer to Kodiak.
