We will arrange Alaska wilderness trips for fishermen, campers, photographers, rafters, kayakers, and nature lovers who wish to stay in or near the Wood-Tikchik state park on the rivers up from Dillingham, Alaska, which is the closest access point. Stay in cabins or tents at your option. Each trip is customized to your wishes. The Wood-Tikchik is the nation's largest state park and was created in 1978 to protect the area's fish and wildlife breeding areas. The lake system consists of seven connecting lakes that vary in length from 15 to 45 miles and reach a depth of 1000 feet. The rivers in the area include the Nushagak River, the Mulchatna River, the Koktuli River, the Stuyhok River, and the Nuyakuk River, plus many smaller tributaries.

Spired peaks, high alpine valleys, and deep V-shaped arms give the Tikchik lakes' western reaches a spectacular fjord-like appearance. Sport fishing for Rainbow trout and salmon is some of the best in the world in the rivers that connect the seven lakes and those uprivers that flow out of the lakes. We particularly recommend the Nuyakuk River which flows out of Tikchik Lake and flows into the Nushagak River. We have rental cabins available at the midpoint of the Nuyakuk River.

Wildlife abounds throughout the park system and it is not unusual to see moose, brown bear, and caribou.

While limited hunting is permitted in the park, we only booking hunting trips in the areas surrounding the park which we feel are the prime locations for fly- in drop off hunts.
